A Card for Mascara Oopsies

Is this what happen to you when you try to apply mascara perfectly? Don't worry it happens to all of us.

When applying mascara do you ever find it hard to get every single lash without ruining your whole look by one wrong move with that dangerous wand?

Well here is a trick from pros:

To ensure that every lash is coated with your mascara, use a business card or a index card to act as a protector  when applying mascara.

There are devices sold today that you can buy to help with this, but why spend $10- $20 when you can use a business card with no use.

First get an old sturdy business card, Measure it to fit your eye shape. This will ensure that there will be no space when applying the mascara.

Hold the card up to your eye, make sure its a snug fit and proceed with applying your mascara.

The Card can also be used to create a strong contour. Cut the card to fit your cheek bone and hold up to your face when ready to apply a contour, bronzer or blush.

If you are still experiencing messy mascara after using this business card trick, you may want to do your eye makeup first. If you make a mess you can use a water based makeup remover to clear any smudges. If your look is completed and you experience a small bit of mascara on your skin you can wait for it to dry then use clean mascara wand to remove the dry smudge. Doing this will not ruin the rest of your eye makeup.

Another trick is to allow the mascara to dry completely, then using a dry q-tip touch the

edge of the mascara mark and give it a flick, the mascara will loosen and flake off without

disturbing the rest of your makeup.

I hope these tips helped
