Beauty Tip: Cleanse

Cleansing your skin is a very important part of any persons skincare routine. You typically should cleanse your skin morning and night.

I use a cream cleanser in the morning (neutrogena stress control cream power wash) and followed with a moisturizer, I use Embroylisse Lait Creme Concentrait. During the day you should apply a moisturizer that is right for your skin type, typically  an spf of 15 or higher is good, and you want to use this 30 min to an hour before you go outdoors.

If you wear makeup, Please remove your makeup at night. You never want to sleep in your makeup, not even the Bare Minerals makeup. When youre going to bed, your skin is going through a process of repairing itself. It would stop the process if dirty oily makeup is sitting on your face, not to mention clogging your pores.

I suggest an easy makeup remover wipe, which you can get anywhere from; dollar tree, walmart, cvs, walgreens, mac. You dont have to invest your money in a pricey cleansing oil or makeup removing tonic. A wipe would do just as good. I use Neutrogena Makeup removing wipes. I also use a makeup removing water based cleanser by Bioderma to remove any remaining makeup and eye makeup.

Makeup Removing Wipes

I hate having any makeup left on my face, which is why I use these two things. After I see that there is zero makeup residue on my skin I follow with my Clarisonic Mia + Pore Cleaning brush head and I use a foaming cleanser by Sheiseido. I choose this cleanser as my nightime cleanser because it foams like you've never seen and it gets rid of any excess oils and makeup without stripping your skin.

This is the perfect pair for me, I've been using this method of cleansing for a while now and it works for me. What works for me may not work for you. But its all about experimenting and please know your skin type when you are shopping for new skin care products. There could be an ingredient in something that is totally wrong for your skin and may cause a bad reaction. I've seen if before :/

Here are photos of my cleansing methods.
